Celtic's forgotten man Chris Killen has pleaded with Tony Mowbray to take over at Parkhead and help get his career back on track.
The New Zealand international has only made three starts for The Bhoys since arriving from Hibernian in 2007.
And Killen believes his former manager at Easter Road could be the man to steer Celtic to The SPL title next season.
“He is definitely the right type of guy to take Celtic forward,” the 27-year-old said in The Daily Record.
“The style of football he likes to play will have the fans loving it.
“He didn’t abandon that style at West Brom, even though they got relegated. They played some of the most attractive football in The Premier League but playing the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea doesn’t make life easy for you.
“It would be great if he came up. I’d love to team up with him again.”
