Sevilla manager Manolo Jimenez has confirmed that signing Didier Zokora is an option.
Tottenham midfielder Zokora has been linked with a transfer to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, with Spurs rumoured to have set their asking price at £9 million.
Jimenez has confirmed that signing a midfielder is Sevilla’s priority but has insisted that the African is not at the top of their wish-list.
"Obviously he [Zokora] is a footballer that we like, but he is not at the top of our list,” Jimenez said.
“He is an option. I can tell you for sure that he is not in pole position and to my mind we are searching for a different profile of player.”
