Everton have allowed Nuno Valente, Andy van der Meyde and Segundo Castillo to leave the club.
Defender Valente, 34, joined from Porto in 2005 but has now been released after he made just two appearances last season.
The club have also told 29-year-old Van der Meyde that his contract will not be renewed.
The former Holland international has had a disastrous four years at the club since moving from Inter and recently criticised David Moyes in an interview.
Meanwhile, Castillo, 27, failed to secure a permanent switch from Red Star Belgrade after he was unable to make an impact during his season-long loan spell.
Youngsters John Irving, John Paul Kissock, Scott Spencer, Eunan O'Kane and Cory Sinnott also depart along with academy players Thomas McCready, Luke Powell, Michael Jensen and Daniel Redmond.
