Monaco sporting director Marc Keller has confirmed that Andriy Shevchenko has been offered to the Principality club.
Chelsea are expected to release the Ukrainian striker, who has proved a huge disappointment during his time at Stamford Bridge.
“Sheva,” as he is dubbed, was sent on loan to Milan last season but failed to make a big impact back at the San Siro.
Keller has confirmed that Monaco have been offered the chance to sign the forward, but the Ligue 1 side are yet to respond.
“Ukraine international Shevchenko has been offered to us,” Keller told France-Football.
“But, for the moment, we haven’t considered it.”
