Chelsea must cross Marko Arnautovic off their summer shopping list after his agent revealed ‘his choice is Inter’.
The 20-year-old FC Twente striker has attracted interest from across Europe, including Italian clubs Milan and Lazio.
Former Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti’s admiration for the Austria international appeared to have increased the likelihood of him landing up at Stamford Bridge.
However, the player’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, says that there is already an agreement in place for his client to move to the San Siro, where he could replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic should the Swede be allowed to leave.
“No one from Milan has come forward for Arnautovic, nor has anyone from Lazio,” Vigorelli told Calciomercatonews.com.
“Anyway Arnautovic already has a pre-arranged deal with Inter and his choice is Inter.
“The deal is still in progress and next week we will meet FC Twente's directors to speak about the prospect of loaning Arnautovic to Inter for a season with the right to buy him next summer.”
