Reported Tottenham target Ruud van Nistelrooy has signalled his intention to fight for his future at Real Madrid.
The Dutch forward’s future has been cast into doubt at the Bernabeu following the arrival of Kaka, bid for Cristiano Ronaldo and links with David Villa.
Van Nistelrooy has to prove his fitness following a serious knee injury, but he is convinced he has plenty to offer Real.
”I’m injured so I do not know what they want of me,” Van Nistelrooy told NIS. “I am happy at Real and want to go back and get the opportunity to prove myself.
”I have a strong motivation to succeed at Real. I believe I have plenty to offer Real.”
