Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch will not follow Glen Johnson out of the Fratton Park exit door, according to his agent.
Johnson agreed a £17 million switch to Crouch’s former club Liverpool, prompting fears of an exodus from the south-coast side.
Crouch recently voiced his disatisfaction with the current uncertainty surrounding the takeover of Sulaiman Al Fahim, after which the England international was linked with a switch to Sunderland and Blackburn.
But his agent, Jonathan Barnett, was quick to play down any possibility of the forward leaving Portsmouth.
Barnett told the Portsmouth News: “There has been nothing from other clubs for Peter Crouch.
“He still has a contract with Portsmouth and he intends to be there next season. He has no intention of moving on.”
