David Beckham will look to extend his stay at Milan, according to England general manager Franco Baldini.
Beckham, on loan with the Rossoneri until March, is not expected to return to Los Angeles Galaxy - according to Baldini who tends to think that the England international will see his spell at the San Siro extended.
The right midfielder has already appeared twice for Milan, firstly during the friendly with Hamburg in Dubai, and then in the 2-2 Serie A draw at Roma, during which he played 89 minutes.
The Manchester United legend is due to return to the United States in March, but Baldini understands that his loan spell could be longer than initially planned.
Baldini told Italian television channel Sky Sport 24: "If David Beckham plays well for Milan, I’m sure he will speak with Los Angeles Galaxy’s directors.”
Regarding Manchester City’s £100 million bid for Kaka, Baldini has advised the world’s richest club to build a decent team before they try to sign big stars.
He added: “I think that first of all the club must strengthen the team’s spinal column and think about looking attractive to players such as Kaka, because it’s not only about money.”
