Voy Por out of Cheltenham Grade Two

by Oli Skehan , 14 April 2009

Voy Por Ustedes has been ruled out of Wednesday's ESN Silver Trophy Chase at Cheltenham.

As a result, Alan King's high-class chaser is unlikely to run again this season.

"It is going to be quick enough round there and they have had a long season and plenty of racing there so we have decided not to run," owner Sir Robert Ogden's racing manager Barry Simpson told the Racing Post.

"We might look at the Celebration Chase at Sandown for him but I think we have probably ruled him out for the season now. He certainly doesn't owe us anything."

Despite Voy Por Ustedes defection, King will have a runner in Wednesday's Grade Two event in the form of Ouzbeck.
