Edison Miranda is insisting he will have too much for Andre Ward when the two meet in Oakland on Saturday night.
Unbeaten 2004 Olympic gold medallist Ward faces the toughest fight of his career against the hard-hitting Miranda (32-3, 28 KOs) in his first hometown contest as a professional.
Oakland's mayor has declared Saturday 'Andre Ward day', but Miranda insists he will crash the party for the number one contender to Carl Froch's WBC super-middlweight title.
"Andre Ward has never been in the ring with a fighter like me; he hasn't fought anyone talented," Miranda said.
"If there is one thing you notice about Andre's fights, he's always running.
"Andre doesn't have the heart of a champion. He is holding on to his one achievement: the Olympic gold medal. But that is all he will ever achieve."
