Johnny Murtagh totalled a count of seven day’s worth of bans on the first day of Royal Ascot.
The jockey, who is already set to miss out on the final two days of the Ascot meeting due to a suspension picked up in The Investec Coronation Cup at Epsom, picked up several more raps on the knuckles on Tuesday.
Murtagh will now miss out on what was the potential ride of Mastercraftsman in The Coral-Eclipse at Sandown after picking up the penalties on Royal Ascot’s opening day.
Firstly, he was handed a one-day ban for excessive use of the whip on the afore-mentioned Mastercraftsman as he won The St James's Palace Stakes.
Following that he suffered another blow with a further six-day ban dished out for his ride on sixth-placed Kayf Aramis in The Ascot Stakes.
Five of the six were handed out for careless riding for his hampering of Ermine Sea on the home turn and it was made seven in total for failing to ride out.
Murtagh will now also miss the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly.
