Dublin still searching for new sponsor

Dublin have yet to secure a new shirt sponsorship but the County Board is confident a new backer will be found in due course.

Arnotts 20-year association with Dublin GAA came to an end at the conclusion of the 2009 season and although the search for a replacement has been ongoing, a new sponsor has yet to be secured.

The Dublin County Board imposed a deadline to find a new backer but that has already passed and the pressure is on for a sponsor to be found in order to have shirts ready for the Christmas market.

Despite the lack of success, County Board chief executive is confident a successor will be found in the near future.

"We have quite significantly interest in it and there are a number of solid proposals that we are working on," Costello told the Sunday Independent.

"We have gone a long way with a number of clients across a number of sectors. There will be a new sponsor on board by the time we launch our league campaign in the new year."
