Bethpage toughest US Open test
I would say that Bethpage Black is one of the toughest US Open tests that there is. It is a punishing golf course and if there is any breeze at all and you shoot a round par you have done exceptionally well.
It is a course that tests every department of your game, and it will be hot and you will have to have all of your strength and concentration all week.
It is one of those weeks where the players enjoy the challenge, but they wouldn’t want to do it every week.

Tiger (Woods) is a golfing genius. Since he has come back from his knee injury, his long game – apart from the first week – has been, by his standards, very scratchy. The same can be said about his driving, which has been all over the place.
