Quail Hollow is Majorly good

A lot of players pick their tournaments around courses that suit them. That's how most of us did it. Tiger Woods said when he first came to the Quail Hollow course, 'I like this place. I can see the shakes around it.'

You've got to manouevre the golf ball around here and he likes to do that. He felt comfortable playing here. It's a good golfer's golf course. There are certain tournaments and courses that players hold in high regard and this is one of them.

This is a golf course that could easily hold a Major tomorrow, and that's why it gets a Major field.

This golf course isn't all about length, it's got a lot of angle elevation involved in it as well. They've done the right thing this year. They've let the rough stay down a little bit, they felt that they didn't want people struggling. The golf course is good enough to stand up on its own two feet. They want to see a bit of a birdie feast.

With regard to Padraig Harrington, I think he's fed up being asked if he can make it three in a row. He's not got into his routine yet. He's got so much attention from the media and Padraig just likes getting out there and playing golf.

Now there are an awful lot more off course interviews, and all the articles, and the time he's having to spend with people he doesn't particularly want to and maybe it's taking its toll.

He said at the start of the year that he was really working hard, trying to find form, and you know that Padraig - when he gets himself in the mix - loves it.
