Your one-stop shop for Prem previews

Kick off your footballing weekend with the Friday Football Show from 9.30pm on Setanta Sports 1 every Friday.

James Richardson will be joined by Les Ferdinand and Paul Parker as we review Wayne Rooney’s successful Mission In Minsk.

England’s victory in Belarus was live on Setanta and our Richard Adams joined the fans in the Sports Cafe to gauge the fans’ perspective.

Ahead of the return of the Premier League this weekend, we will preview every game. We’ve got Manchester United v West Brom live on Saturday from 4pm and on Monday we’re live at St James’ Park for Newcastle against Manchester City.

For United we’ll hear on the show from the perennially forthright Gary Neville, who has some strong things to say on how his position has changed over the years and also how agents are too prominent in young players’ lives these days.

For City we sit down with Stephen Ireland – a fine young player and an enigmatic character. And for the Newcastle angle, Darrell Currie speaks to four men who played under Joe Kinnear at Wimbledon – John Scales, John Hartson, Marcus Gayle and Efan Ekoku – as well as one of his current charges Steven Taylor to ask can Kinnear still cut it at the top level? Darrell has also interviewed Newcastle’s interim boss and you can see that in the build-up to the live game on Monday night.

We’ll also hear from West Brom manager Tony Mowbray and look back on Aaron Ramsey’s fantastic performance for Wales Under-21s against England on Tuesday night.

See you at 9.30 on Friday.
