Pantsil should be banned

by Steve Claridge , 15 December 2008

As ever there were plenty of talking points at the weekend, but one incident that really caught my eye was the one involving John Pantsil of Fulham and Stoke’s Ricardo Fuller.

Pantsil tumbled to the floor after the pair brushed heads and quite frankly it is an absolute joke.

You just cannot go around doing the sort of thing he did there. People are saying he will look at it and be embarrassed, but it’s not about being embarrassed. He is actually cheating.

He has no respect for his fellow players, we bang on about the respect issue. Players have to have respect for each other and he clearly hasn’t.

He is trying to cheat, he is trying to get Ricardo Fuller sent off, and let’s see him have a three-match ban for that because it is pathetic.
