Setanta.com are looking to provide some cheer to the office and the wider world in general and with that in mind, it's back by popular demand: Footballers' Wags.
'This is a topical feature' I hear you cry and boy this is topical, after McFly said they would sacrifice a toe to spend the evening with Cheryl Cole. Personally i'd give more, but it's triggered us into life and we need your help to compile the XI.
1. Sarah Brandner (Nominated by Setanta)
There really is no other place to start. She's hot, she obviously likes football and doesn't mind a night out on the lash. Bliss! Bastian Schweinsteiger is a lucky, luck boy.
2. Sylvie van der Vaart (Nominated by Ol la la)
It was a sad day for the majority of mankind when Sylvie Meis sauntered down the aisle to become Mrs Rafael van der Vaart. Modelling was her bag from a young age and i've always been fans of the Dutch who voted her Holland's sexiest woman in 2003 and who can argue? Whoever won in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 must be somethinhg else!
3. Caroline Celico (Nominated by Kiko)
Now this is not one of the usual suspects, but certainly fits the ball in some style. The daughter of the director of Dior in Brazil, she's certainly bred for the job. She's been studying for a fashion degree in Milan since getting married to Kaka a couple of years ago, but may now be forced to find a school in Madrid. Now that's some hardship.
4. Abby Clancy (Nominated by ajaz87)
Ajaz87 was quick off the mark with this one, but not as quick as the boy Peter Crouch. We've been scratching our heads trying to work out what attracted lingerie model and all-round stunner Clancy to millionaire footballer Crouch and all we could come up with was the robot dance.
5. Carly Zucker (Nominated by Ashton)
'She's nice,' says setanta.com's Tom Kell and believe me that's glowing praise indeed. Carly Zucker, aka Joe Cole's missus, is a cracking looker and judging by her efforts on I'm A Celebrity, she's actually quite a nice person.
6. Lorena Bernal (Nominated by JW)
This is another nomination that raised eyebrows from the guys at Setanta Towers, but we don't tend to get out much. Anyway we've done our research and former Miss Spain and current lady of Mikel Arteta qualfies with ease.
7. Noemie Lenoir (Nominated by baz baz)
Claude Makelele's not had a bad life, being a key player for France and winning the Champions League with Real Madrid, but undoubtedly his finest achievement is snaring French model Lenoir. A true stunner.
8. Giorgia Palmas (Nominated by AFCBROOX)
Before you start, yes we know there are some better pictures of Ms. Palmas out there, unfortunately we can't get them. We don't know much about her boyfriend, Bologna forward Davide Bombardini and frankly we don't care. Great work AFCBROOX.
9. Gemma Atkinson (Nominated by Andrew Jordan)
Now Gemma has had a few football fellas, Ronaldo for one, but seems to have settled down with Marcus Bent. Marcus's career has dipped somewhat in recent years, but it's understandable given what he ends up going home to.
10. Louise Redknapp (Nominated by Gooner)
The girl's come a long way since prancing round the stage with Eternal in the mid-1990s. A solo career kept her in the spotlight and she earned high praise when FHM named her sexiest woman of the decade in 2004. Jamie Redknapp is a lucky man, i bet he literally kicks himself to remind himself of how lucky he is!
11. Cheryl Cole (Nominated by Toon-R-Me)
Now surely you didn't think we'd forgotten? All great sides need strength at both ends and this undoubtedly has it. The Geordie lass has come along way and some would argue the only blip was heading down the aisle with a certain Chelsea left back. We forgive you.
