GP2
The GP2 circuit is an undisputed breeding ground for F1 stars of the future. This highly competitive competition launched in 2005 and has gained a significant reputation for top quality motorsport action since.
The 2006 winner was Lewis Hamilton and last season saw the nephew of the great Ayrton Senna, namely Bruno Senna finish as runner up. If you love F1, you will find GP2 fascinating.
FIA GT
The FIA GT Championship features cars that are based on production road car designs, which undergo significant modifications including better aerodynamics, larger brakes, wider tires and larger engine admission restrictors etc.
Prestigious motorsports makes such as Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Dodge, Lamborgini, Ascari and Maserati take part in FIA GT series which makes it a visually spectacular series for any motor sport fan.
SUPERLEAGUE FORMULA
Superleague Formula is the fusion of two of the world’s most popular and exciting sports – F1 and Football – and Setanta customers will be able to watch this spectacular race series on 27th and 28th June from Magny-Cours, France. The 2009 field will once again be racing the V12-powered, 750bhp single-seater racecars bearing football club colours. This year teams will include Liverpool FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Borussia Dortmund, FC Porto and Sevilla FC. Last years winners, Beijing Guoan, will again be looking to secure victory, but could face tough opposition from PSV Eindhoven and AC Milan, second and third last season.
DTM
The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM, German Touring car Masters) is a touring car racing series based in Germany - with rounds elsewhere in Europe, including Holland, Britain, Spain and France.
The DTM features high specification touring cars from renowned manufacturers, Mercedes and Audi. The cars race on some of Europe’s most famous circuits including Hockenheim, Brands Hatch, Barcelona and the legendary Nurburgring.
