Tigers to wait on Jimmy decision

by Admin , 01 March 2010 Hull Generic

Hull will make a decision on Jimmy Bullard's availability for the clash at Everton next Sunday after a friendly against Doncaster.

Bullard was left out of Friday's win in Ireland as a precautionary measure after he had played for the reserves earlier last week but his participation on Sunday will come down to how he fares in the Doncaster friendly.

Brown explained his absence on Friday was no more than a precautionary measure to ensure he did not pick up any further damage.

He said: "It's purely precautionary. We're that close you've got to assess the situation as a manager and wrap him in cotton wool when you think it's right. "

We'll have a look at him again in a behind closed doors game at Doncaster where we can control the environment a bit more."
