Bullard bonus for Tigers

by Admin , 03 March 2010

Hull's Jimmy Bullard came through 75 minutes of a friendly with Doncaster unscathed and is pushing for a recall at Everton.

The Tigers record signing has been out of the side since early December with a knee injury and is desperate to get back into the starting line up to help in the battle against the drop.

Hull boss Phil Brown is keen for him to return but at the same time will be wary of causing further problems so a decision on his involvement at Everton will be left late.

Brown told the Mail: "Jimmy is fine, no complaints, but we'll have to see how he is for the rest of the week.I'm not making any promises that he's going to start on Sunday.

"But if he's somewhere near, I'm sure he'll be kicking my door down to make sure he's involved.

"The motivation will be there for everyone to be involved this weekend and Jimmy will be no different."
