Hull have been told they will have to do without Anthony Gardner for at least six weeks following scans on his ankle.
The Tigers captain and centre-half picked up ankle ligament damage against West Ham and scans have now revealed he will be out for at least six weeks with the problem.
The the match at Birmingham on April 17th looks to be his best opportunity to return to the side but he will be absent for a crucial part of the the run in.
