Hull boss Phil Brown will give Jimmy Bullard as long as possible to prove his fitness ahead of the Everton clash.
The record signing has been out of the side since December with a knee injury but he is close to a return and has played twice for the second string in the past week.
Brown will not want to risk him if he is not ready though and he will be handed a late test.
Elsewhere in the side and Brown is thought to be considering the option of switching Paul McShane to centre-half as cover for the injured Anthony Gardner.
