England are on top in the First Test in Chittagong, leading by 445 runs at stumps on day two after restricting Bangladesh to 154-5.
Graeme Swann took 3-40 and Stuart Broad 2-30, as Bangladesh's batsmen rather softly gave their wickets away.
Tamim Iqbal was 81 not out from 115 balls, but the wicket of Mohammad Mahmudullah for 51, caught by Paul Collingwood off the bowling of Swann was perhaps the crucial one, as he and Iqbal had put on 94 for the fourth wicket.
England declared on 599 for six after Collingwood scored his 10th Test hundred with a magnificent 145, following captain Alastair Cook, who hit a career-best 173, to three figures.
Cook was finally out after seven hours batting and 283 deliveries when he attempted to pull Mahmudullah against the spin, but top edged a return catch to the bowler.
Collingwood hit four sixes and ten fours in a 188-ball stay before he was caught by Tamim Iqbal off the bowling of Abdur Razzak.
Ian Bell failed to become the third centurion of the innings when he was caught by Rubel Hossain off Shakib Al Hasan for 84.
