Burnley boss Brian Laws insists his side can avoid the drop and called on his players to bounce back after defeat against Wolves.
The Clarets suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of relegation rivals Wolves on Saturday, a result which saw Laws' side cast adrift in the drop zone with 17th placed Wolves three points clear of them.
However, Laws refused to give up on survival and believes his side can secure a second term in the top-flight.
"We feel a little hard done by but we've got to move on. It's a huge knock but the season doesn't end here and there are still eight games to go," Laws said.
"There's still a lot of points to be played for and whilst that is a body-blow for us we can't let it affect us and destroy our last eight games."
