Coventry have offered professional terms to four of their second year academy apprentices but five others have not been so lucky.
Strikers Callum Wilson and Shaun Jeffers can both look forward to continuing their education alongside the club's senior players along with goalkeeper Michael Quirke and defender Nathan Cameron.
A fifth player, full-back Jordan Clarke, has already landed a professional deal after impressing the Sky Blues coaching staff from the group of ten boys.
Sadly, the news isn't so good for Rob Ogleby, Sulieman Leluu, Joel Grandison, Jacob Blackwell and Jamie Greenway, who's dreams of making the grade with the Championship club are over.
Ogleby has attracted some interest from non-league with Hinckley United and Nuneaton Town, both thought to be considering a move for the striker.
