Changed colours for both finalists

by setanta.com staff , 30 August 2010

Cork will wear predominantly white jerseys in next month's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final at Croke Park, with Down in mainly gold shirts.

The GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) has decided that neither team will be allowed to wear their standards kits during the clash on September 19.

Cork will be in white jerseys with white trim, with their opponents set to wear gold tops with red and black trim, a kit similar to that which Down wore against the Rebels in last year's All-Ireland Under-21 final. That day, Cork wore their recognisable red shirts with white shorts.

This year's final will be the first to feature both sides in alternate strips since Offaly and Kerry met in the 1982 decider.
