Croatia international goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan deal.
The 31-year-old arrives at White Hart Lane from Spartak Moscow and will provide competition for Heurelho Gomes and Carlo Cudicini, as Spurs look for a successful season in both the Premier League and Champions League.
He has formerly played with Hadjuk Split and Shakhtar Donetsk before joining Spartak in 2007, and nearly joined Spurs in January, but was prevented from doing so because of injury.
He played for Croatia in their run to the Euro 2008 quarter-finals and was also involved in the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, the player having earned 80 caps to date.
