Celtic have swooped to sign highly-rated Australian teenage goalkeeper Nick Feely from Perth Glory.
The 18-year-old caught the eye during a trial spell with the Scottish giants, and the club have moved quickly to secure his signature in light of interest from Fulham and Reading.
Feely, who played in the Jock Stein Friendship Cup, has been told he must first dislodge Robbie Thomson in the youth team, before he can even think about breaking into the senior set-up.
Youth coach Stevie Frail confirmed: "We won't rotate the keepers, they'll play on merit. Robbie has stated our two league games but Nick's registration has now been completed.
"In Belgium we had a good look at Nick, he played in four matches and Robbie played in three.
"Nick hasn't played for a few weeks and needs a bit of work on his sharpness but we have got two good young goalkeepers battling for a place. We do a lot of work scouting and following up recommendations.
"We brought Nick over, had a look at him and liked what we saw."
