Greening keeping calm

by Admin , 08 September 2010 Greening keeping calm

Fulham's Jonathan Greening hopes he gets a chance to impress boss Mark Hughes soon after finding his chances limited.

Danny Murphy and Dickson Etuhu have been preferred by Hughes for the central midfield roles but Greening hopes to get involved.

The former West Brom midfielder insists he will remain patient, but is eager to cement a spot in the starting line-up as soon as an opportunity comes along.

"I am just trying to work hard and wait for my chance to get on the field," said Greening on the club's official website.

"Danny and Dickson have been doing a good job so I've just got to be patient.

"I'm ready and I've got to take my chance so the manager would find it difficult to leave me out."
