Gavin Henson was delighted to be part of the Welsh Rugby Union's marketing campaign to promote the team’s new kit.
There has been much speculation about Henson's future in rugby, particularly with regard to international competition. The centre remains on unpaid leave from the Ospreys, having not played since March of last year.
He said earlier this week that he wants to represent Wales at the 2011 World Cup, but it was then announced on Wednesday that he has signed up to take part in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing television show, confusing matters once again.
Nevertheless, in a WRU press release to accompany the unveiling of the new Wales kit, Henson said: "When the Welsh Rugby Union asked me to be one of the first to put on the new kit to help with their marketing campaign I had no hesitation.
"As a passionate Welshman I have always felt a great sense of pride whenever I have had the privilege of being able to wear the national jersey and this occasion was no different."
Henson is not part of the Wales squad, listed on the WRU website, for the 2010-11 season.
