Rangers will welcome goalkeeper Allan McGregor back into the first team for the Champions League joust with Valencia on Wednesday.
McGregor sat out the 4-1 SPL win at Motherwell on Saturday as he was serving a one-match ban, but will have a crucial role to play as the La Liga high-fliers head to Ibrox looking to bounce back from their late defeat to Manchester United three weeks ago.
Rangers start the game one point clear of the Spanish side in Group C, but this is the first of two crucial games against them and is one they face without midfielder Lee McCulloch, who suffered a groin injury in Scotland's Euro 2012 qualifier defeat to Spain last week.
James Beattie also misses out with a thigh problem, while fellow striker John Fleck is still sidelined with the hamstring injury he picked up in pre-season.
They could though have defender Kirk Broadfoot back after a foot knock ruled him out of Scotland duty and the Motherwell game.
Valencia coach Unai Emery is without defenders Miguel and Hedwiges Maduro, who have thigh and hamstring injuries respectively.
Midfielders Mehmet Topal and Joaquin are also set to miss the Glasgow game with ankle injuries, but Ever Banega returned to the side for the weekend 2-1 loss to Barcelona, that after the Argentine had been missing for two months with an ankle knock of his own.
