Aston Villa starlet Barry Bannan is set to be called up to the senior Scotland squad for their friendly against the Faroe Islands.
Scotland coach Craig Levein did not name his whole squad for the November 16 showdown, but he did confirm that Bannan would get an opportunity following his impressive start to the season.
"I don't want to sit here and name the squad, but I will be adding and the plan is to bring the young lad Bannan into the group,"
"Barry has impressed me in the Under 21's and he's now appearing for Aston Villa."
Bannan is very likely to play some part in the match as Levein also admitted that he is planning to give a few younger players a chance to test their abilities on the international stage.
