New signing Olivier Kapo will not be included in the Celtic squad when Aberdeen come to town on Saturday.
The former Juventus, Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic attacker signed as a free agent this week, but will have to wait for his debut.
However, the Bhoys are boosted by the availability of striker Gary Hooper for the SPL clash. He has overcome a slight metatarsal blow to be fit.
Captain Shaun Maloney should also be available to play after crying off last weekend's win over St Johnstone because of a stomach bug. Daryl Murphy and James Forrest must continue their recoveries from ankle problems, however.
Former Celtic man Paul Hartley is expected to face his old club after being struck down with illness and missing midweek training.
He was back on the field on Friday though and is set to take his place in midfield for Mark McGhee’s men. Yoann Folly is also fit after recovering from an ankle problem to play in last week’s defeat at St Mirren.
Andy Considine (knee) and Nikola Vujadinovic (hamstring) are still struggling for fitness, with Peter Pawlett and Fraser Fyvie out too.
A win for Celtic will see them regain top spot in the SPL, at least until Rangers travel to St Mirren the following day.
