Fiorentina have released a statement annnouncing that Adrian Mutu will be allowed back into their squad to resume his career.
The controversial 32-year-old requested to leave the club during the January transfer window but was denied the chance of a move to Cesena. The former Chelsea then striker stormed out of the club's training facilities and was immediately suspended from the squad.
But all parties involved appear to have sorted out their differences and the Romania international hit-man is now free to resume his career with the Viola.
A statement was released on the club's official website, which read: "ACF Fiorentina conveys that Adrian Mutu, as of tomorrow, Friday 4 February, will be reintegrated with the first team and therefore he will be at the disposal of the coach, Sinisa Mihajlovic."
Mutu joined Chelsea in 2003 but played just 27 top-flight games before being sacked after testing positive for cocaine, while also failing a drugs test at the beginning of 2010.
