David Moyes has denied that Tim Cahill is about to be sold to QPR after reports suggesting Mark Hughes wanted the Australian.
The 32-year-old has failed to find the back of the net for over a year and has been linked with a move to Loftus Road where their new manager Mark Hughes is trying to attract new faces.
Cahill played the full game for Everton against Aston Villa on Saturday and after the game Moyes told the press there had been no official bid for the player and claimed he still had a future at Everton.
When asked if there had been a bid for Cahill, he said "No there hasn't been."
Debut boy Darron Gibson played Cahill in at Villa Park but the Australian could not find the back of the net.
Moyes added: "He's now gone a long time without a goal and it was a really good ball for him to get on the end of, but he just didn't quite connect with it."
