by JP Lonergan , 28 January 2012

Dunn, 32, who - a four-year stay with Birmingham City aside - has spent his entire career with Rovers has extended his stay with the relegation-threatened Premier League outfit until June 2013.

Rovers manager Steve Kean said of the player’s new deal: "Everyone knows that not only is David Blackburn Rovers through and through, but he remains a top player and a key member of our squad.

"He has been at the top of his game over recent weeks and we are all delighted to see him extend his association with the club."

Dunn has made 16 appearances for Kean’s side this season, netting one goal.
