Defender Leighton Baines is looking ahead to the clash with Chelsea but claims they will not make the mistake Manchester City did.
Following the midweek defeat at Goodison Park last week Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini claims that his side had not prepared well enough for the game and that they were guilty of underestimating Everton.
Having picked up that win and after adding both Steven Pienaar and Nikica Jelavic to the squad, Baines does not think that Chelsea will make the same mistake as City did.
"I don't think many of the big teams do underestimate us, especially at home. In the past we have had some decent results, especially against City and Chelsea. We have tended to do OK against Chelsea in the last few seasons," Baines said.
"They will be aware of what we are capable of doing, so I don't think they'll be taking their eye off the ball," he told the Daily Post.
Chelsea will be looking to bounce back after their collapse against Manchester United last weekend when they threw away a three goal lead.
