Marcus Olsson is vowing to make a name for himself as he looks to step out of the shadows of his twin brother Martin at Blackburn.
Rovers deadline day signing is desperate to prove his worth in England after leaving Halmstads BK for a new challenge and he would love nothing better than to become a regular at Ewood Park alongside his sibling.
The pair first arrived at the club six years but while Martin's trial resulted in him being offered a contract, the older of the twins by one minute, was shown the door.
It's fair to say that Martin hasn't looked back since then, appearing in nearly 100 games for Blackburn while also establishing himself in the Swedish national team.
No wonder perhaps that Marcus has come back to the Premier League strugglers on a mission to make up for lost time and a deserve to shake off an unwanted tag.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "That's how it was for a couple of years when I played over in Sweden, mostly I was Martin Olsson's brother.
"
But now I've taken this step and I want to become a good player.
I want to be known as Marcus, not Martin's brother.
"I am a different person, there are similarities on the pitch as well but we are different people and we have different skills.
"
I know this is a very difficult league to play in, it's very high tempo but I know I have the tempo in me and with the right players over here, quality players, I think I can develop at training.
"And I have my brother to motivate me and help me become a better player."
The new man has also revealed how he turned down the chance to move to Standard Liege in Belgium to order play alongside his brother again for the first time since they were teenagers at Swedish minnows Hogaborgs.
