Ulster left it late but they sealed a bonus-point win over a determined and dogged Dragons side following a 30-12 win in the RaboDirect PRO12.
Former Ospreys full-back Stefan Terblanche went over with just four seconds to play to put a gloss on what was a pretty disjointed display by Brian McLaughlin's Heineken Cup quarter-finalists.
First-half tries from Robbie Diack, his second of the season in the competition, and Ruan Pienaar, who stylishly rounded off what was surely one of the tries of the season so far, saw the hosts go in 15-9 up at the break - Jason Tovey's three penalties making up the visitors haul for the opening 40 minutes.
The second-half was 10 minutes old when Tovey narrowed the gap to just three points with his fourth penalty kick of the night but his effort was soon forgotten when Craig Gilroy finished off another fine Ulster move much to the delight of the Ravenhill faithful.
To their credit the visitors never threw in the towel but their inability to score tries, an inability that has now seen them lose their last 11 matches, was evident again as the Irish province rounded off things off in style with Pienaar converting his fellow countryman's last-gasp effort.
