Andrew Surman feels he is playing 'the best football of my career' at Norwich thanks to being surrounded by top Premier League players.
The 25-year-old former Southampton midfielder is in his second spell as a Premier League player having endured a difficult 12 months with Wolves during the 2008-09 campaign.
Surman was rescued from his Molineux nightmare by the Canaries and managed three goals in 22 appearances in the Championship promotion campaign last term.
But, having secured a chance to get into boss Paul Lambert's first-team this season, Surman has not looked back and has started 13 of the side's last 14 Premier League fixtures, scoring an impressive four goals in nine games.
And he puts his good form down to the fact he has had to raise his own game due to the quality of both his team-mates and opposition players in the top flight.
Surman told the Pink 'un: "I think when you are playing in the Premier League, playing against better players, you have got to play better and be a better player. And you are playing with better players as well, so I think it brings the best out of me personally.
"So I think I probably am playing the best football of my career.
"The main thing is getting a run in the team and playing in a team that is full of confidence, and then you can really express yourself."
